What are SCRIP / Giftcards?

 

Scrip Giftcards is one of SSPP’s major fundraisers.  Scrip is SSPP’s 24/7, 365 days of the year fundraiser, simply done by managing your everyday purchases through pre-purchasing giftcards through our SCRIP Giftcard program.  Our goal is to get 100% participation from our school families.  The programs cost you nothing to participate and have a tremendous impact on the school.
Our programs are not limited to school families; you may enlist extended family, neighbors and friends and have their purchases credited to your parental commitment hours.

Parental Commitment Hours

Using SCRIP Giftcards is one of the easiest ways to earn parental commitment hours.  For every $100 in Scrip Giftcards you purchase you earn 1 hour towards your Parental Commitment hours.  When you  purchase Scrip Giftcards thru the school office, remember to log your hour per $100 purchase into the Parental Commitment Database.

 

Raising Money for the School:

The Gift Card Program is the #1 profit generating fundraiser for Scrip!  Scrip purchases gift cards at a discount which you then purchase for face value. The difference is profit for our school.

Example: SSPP buys a $100 Dillards Card for $90.00.
You buy the $100 Dillards Card for $100.00.
SSPP retains the difference of $10.00 as profit*
