The Most Funtastic Event of the Year!!!!
Walkathon/ Bowlathon is a fun, healthy, financially lucrative fundraiser that everyone loves!
February is a great time to be outside in Tucson - students love to walk and talk and parents can't believe they can actually get hours for spending the afternoon enjoying the day, watching the kids being happy.Walk-a-Thon takes place on the SSPP Campus. Young students walk around the track and older ones walk the school perimeter. Snacks are provided on both routes.
Grades 7 & 8 will bowl at Lucky Strike Bowling Alley (4105 E Speedway)
All students are given pledge sheets the week before the event to gather pledges from friends, co-workers, neighbors and family. The sheets are then handed in and returned after the event with the child’s lap count/ bowl count. Students then collect the money and turn it in. Prizes are awarded to the classroom that turns in the most money. T-shirts or Teddy Bears are given to those students that raise over $40 .
All money goes back to Saints Peter & Paul School with very little overhead charges
